What is required to use software?
Some models are stand-alone products with an integrated computer and require nothing else to run software. Others are delivered with an external, powerful single board computer.

A key benefit of using a digital microscope is being able to document and share your findings.

Easy image capture with generic drivers and control box
All TAGARNO digital microscopes use generic drivers and work as a webcam, making it incredibly easy to document your findings. Simply connect the microscope to a computer using the supplied USB 3.0 cable and open the Camera app to start documenting. No specialized drivers or software needed.

On selected TAGARNO microscopes, you don't even need a computer for this process. Instead, all it takes it a press of a button on the control box to document your findings.

Share live image in online meetings
The TAGARNO microscopes also interact seamlessly with video meeting tools like Teams and Zoom without having to install any drivers or software on your computer. When using the supplied USB 3.0 able, the microscope will simply appear as a webcam that you can share the live image from to all other participants in the meeting – perfect for remote collaboration and educational purposes.

When onboarding new colleagues or teaching students, the use of a monitor makes digital microscopes an excellent training tool.

See samples together on monitor or big screen
Using a monitor to display the magnified sample allows you to view the sample with multiple colleagues at the same time without using a teaching microscope or taking turns to look through an eyepiece.

If you're doing a lecture, you can even display the live image on a big screen to give students a better viewing of a single magnified sample instead of providing multiple samples and microscopes.

Creating a healthier setup with digital microscopes
The digital display of the digital microscope allows you to look straight ahead at the monitor rather than downwards through an eyepiece, creating a more comfortable setup that reduces job-related pain. With a digital microscope, you also have more freedom of movement and can change between a sitting and standing position without having the adjust the settings or viewing angle of your microscope.
